Description

Workplace spirituality significantly shapes effective leadership and organisational citizenship behaviour (OCB). This study examined five dimensions—meaningful work, mindfulness, transcendence, compassion, and sense of community—among 400 managerial employees in manufacturing firms using PLS-SEM. Grounded in Self-Determination Theory, findings revealed that all dimensions positively influence leadership, with meaningful work having the strongest effect. Effective leadership further enhances OCB and mediates the spirituality–behaviour relationship, highlighting the value of integrating spiritual principles into leadership practices.
