This dataset supports the research presented in the paper “How multi-scale terrain parameters shaped the route alignment of Qin Zhi Dao in China’s Ziwuling Mountains”. It contains raw and result data for multi-scale terrain analysis of the Gansu section of the Qin Zhi Dao, an ancient military transportation route. The data encompasses fundamental geographic data, UAV (drone) imagery, vector spatial data, topographic evaluation factors, and analysis results for typical road sections.
