Description

This dataset contains the simulation results for a cost-optimizing home energy management system (HEMS) under communication protocol constraints. The HEMS controls heat pumps and electric vehicles via different communication protocols to minimize the total electricity costs. The dataset includes simulation scenarios for different device parameters, price offsets, system configurations, and packet loss probabilities. For each scenario, it presents the total costs, total savings, additional energy consumption, shifted energy, heat pump seasonal coefficient of performance, and thermal discomfort. The simulation's time horizon is one year.
