This dataset contains the phenotypic, meat-quality, muscle-composition, and processed 16S rDNA sequencing data supporting the manuscript entitled “Effects of Crossbreeding on Production Performance, Meat Quality, and Fecal Microbiota in Dagu Chickens.” The dataset includes sample metadata, growth performance, body measurements, slaughter traits, meat quality, muscle nutritional composition, alpha diversity indices, ASV abundance table, taxonomic annotation, taxonomic abundance tables, LEfSe results, and PICRUSt2-based predicted functional profiles.
