Human Dimension
Description
This repository contains the raw survey data and metadata supporting the article "The Human Dimension of Municipal Waste Management: Understanding Why Environmental Responsibility Persists among Frontline Waste Collectors." The dataset comprises responses from 246 frontline municipal waste collectors employed by the Denpasar Environmental Agency, Indonesia. The survey measures Organizational Support (OS), Job Satisfaction (JS), and Environmental Responsibility (ER), together with respondents' demographic information. The data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analysed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The dataset provides empirical evidence on the human dimension of municipal waste management and may be reused for studies on environmental management, workforce sustainability, organizational behaviour, and employee environmental responsibility.

Steps to reproduce
Conduct a cross-sectional survey among frontline municipal waste collectors employed by the Denpasar Environmental Agency, Indonesia. Collect data using a structured questionnaire comprising items measuring Organizational Support (OS), Job Satisfaction (JS), and Environmental Responsibility (ER), together with respondents' demographic information. Screen the collected data by checking for completeness, missing values, and response consistency before analysis. Import the cleaned dataset into PLS-SEM software (e.g., SmartPLS). Specify the measurement model according to the construct indicators provided in the metadata. Evaluate the measurement model by assessing indicator reliability, internal consistency reliability, convergent validity, and discriminant validity. Estimate the structural model to test the direct effect of Organizational Support on Job Satisfaction and Environmental Responsibility, as well as the indirect (mediating) effect of Job Satisfaction. Compare the estimated model results with those reported in the associated publication.
