Baihua data

Description

The dataset “Baihua data” contains the chronological framework, environmental magnetic parameters, sediment grain-size distributions, and organic geochemical data obtained from a sediment core collected from Baihua Reservoir, southwestern China. The dataset was generated to test the hypothesis that sedimentary magnetic properties can record changes in catchment erosion and sediment delivery, but that this magnetic signal may be modified by post-depositional processes, particularly under organic-rich and reducing depositional conditions.
