Description

This dataset addresses the significant gap in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) data for reclaimed water treatment in China. Reclaimed water treatment, which belongs to the energy-intensive wastewater treatment sector, requires focused attention on carbon emissions reduction. This dataset comprises 67 processes, from which 12 partially system processes have been aggregated according to the level-1 standards of the Environmental Footprint (EF). The establishment of this dataset adheres to principles of transparency and traceability, aligning with EF standards. By providing more localized and precise data, this dataset supports LCA research on reclaimed water treatment in China, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of the water treatment industry.
