Description

Data summarizing unsealed soil surface delineations in the southern half of Los Angeles County, USA. Delineations were made by interpreting high-resolution aerial photographs in a random sample of 1-hectare hexagons. The data set includes the number of soil patches in each hexagon, the proportion of the hexagon that is soil, the size of the largest soil patch, the mean perimeter-area ratio for soil patches, interpolated ATSDR/CDC Social Vulnerability Index value for the hexagon location, and latitude/longitude coordinates.
