This dataset includes geochemical and hydrological measurements from Shennong Cave, southeastern China, collected over three years. It contains dripwater Mg/Ca ratios, calcite saturation index (SIcc), pH, and CO2 concentrations from multiple drip sites, along with observations of speleothem mineralogy and crystal morphology. The data reflects seasonal and interannual variations in the cave environment, revealing relationships between water chemistry and the precipitation of aragonite and calcite. This dataset provides insights into the processes controlling speleothem formation and is valuable for high-resolution paleoclimate reconstructions.
