DATA: Pasture Intensification Effects on Nitrous Oxide Emissions: Evidence for Lower Emission Factors than IPCC Defaults in the Southern Brazilian Highland
Description
This dataset contains measurements of nitrous oxide (N₂O) fluxes collected from pasture systems in the Southern Brazilian Highlands. Data were obtained from four grazing systems (natural grassland, improved natural grassland, perennial pasture, and annual pasture) under urea fertilizer, cattle urine, and dung applications between 2020 and 2021. The dataset includes gas flux measurements, soil properties, meteorological data, and emission factor calculations used in the manuscript 'Pasture Intensification Effects on Nitrous Oxide Emissions: Evidence for Lower Emission Factors than IPCC Defaults'. These data support region-specific emission factors for greenhouse gas inventories.
