Steps to reproduce
The bibliometric review followed the modified PRISMA guidelines for systematic reviews (Page et al., 2021). The search terms "Ethnomathematics," "Ethnomathematics in Education," "Ethnomathematics in Teaching and Learning," "Indigenous Mathematics," "Cultural Mathematics," and "Community Mathematics" were used to retrieve publications from the Scopus database. Subject area filters were then applied to refine the search results. The scope of the study was further defined by the search field, time frame, source type, and document type, while irrelevant publications were excluded. The use of the PRISMA framework ensures a systematic, transparent, and replicable review process by providing a structured approach to searching, screening, and reporting the data. Besides, it also helps minimise selection bias through clearly defined inclusion and exclusion criteria, thereby ensuring a comprehensive and unbiased dataset.
