DERMA-PASeg
Description
The data repository has a huge utilisation in E-Pathology, where instead of needing pathologists to analyse whole slide images, computer-aided diagnosis can be employed to enhance the performance of disease diagnosis. The dataset is composed of 32 Unstained whole slide images paired with chemically stained slides, captured using a brightfield microscope. In addition to that, we have also generated their associated virtually stained images using dual contrastive GANs. To aid in autonomous layer extraction, masks for each whole slide image have also been provided containing annotations for five layers i.e., Dermis, Epidermis, Keratin, Dermal-Epidermal Junction and background. Following is the detailed hierarchy of the dataset. DERMA-Seg (Root Directory) -> Unstained whole slide images - Unstained -> C Stained - Chemically Stained -> V Stained - Virtually Stained -> Masks - Segmented Images
