Description

This dataset contains two supplemental tables from a study evaluating over-the-counter vaginal and vulvar moisturizers. Supplemental Table 1 defines the primary moisturizing ingredient categories (humectants, emollients, and occlusives) used in the study, based on established dermatologic literature, with rationale for inclusion and exclusion of specific ingredients. Supplemental Table 2 provides a complete list of 66 included products with data on intended anatomical site, vehicle type, allergen content (cross-referenced with the ACDS Core Allergen Series and NAC-80 screening series), moisturizing class, marketing claims, and claim verification status (fragrance-free and hypoallergenic).
