Data Availability The firm-level data used in this study were obtained from the China Stock Market & Accounting Research Database (CSMAR) under an institutional licence. The authors are not permitted to redistribute the underlying CSMAR records or firm-level datasets derived from them. Researchers with valid CSMAR access may reconstruct the analytical dataset using the data modules, variable lists, sample-selection rules, and processing code documented in the replication package. The replication materials deposited in Mendeley Data at [INSERT FINAL DOI] contain the analysis and figure-generation code, input schemas, variable and classification dictionaries, non-proprietary aggregate source data underlying the reported tables and figures, and output-verification files.
