Pentoxifylline is a xanthine derivative approved for symptomatic treatment of claudication.1 Due to its hemorheological and anti-inflammatory properties, pentoxifylline has been applied in several dermatological diseases, especially vasculopathic and granulomatous disorders. This systematic review summarizes the evidence regarding this indication.
