Banana responses to irrigation deficit under controlled conditions
Description
Multi-scale experimental monitoring dataset of banana (Musa AAA, cv. Williams) under four controlled irrigation deficit regimes (30, 50, 75, and 100% of crop water requirement). The experiment was conducted between April and September 2024 at a commercial plantation in Varela, Zona Bananera, Magdalena, Colombia. The dataset comprises four integrated data layers: S1 — Soil sensor: weekly means of calibrated VWC (%), temperature (°C), pH, N, P, and K per sensor node (26 nodes, 672 records) S2 — Morphological: pseudostem height (m) and functional leaf count per plant across 12 measurement dates (130 plants, 1,560 records) S3 — UAV canopy metric: canopy-derived projected leaf-area metric (CM, dimensionless) per plant across 10 multispectral UAV flights (130 plants, 1,300 records) S4 — Meteorological: weekly ET₀, VPD, precipitation, and applied irrigation depth per treatment (104 records) S5 — Data dictionary: description, unit, and source for every variable across all sheets
