Steady-State Variable-Load Operational Dataset of a 6.6 MPa Subcritical Coal-Fired Steam Generator for Thermal System Diagnostics
Description
This repository accompanies the Data in Brief article “Steady-State Variable-Load Operational Dataset of a 6.6 MPa Subcritical Coal-Fired Steam Generator for Thermal System Diagnostics.” It provides curated, component-resolved operational data from an industrial subcritical coal-fired steam generator, recorded at three discrete steady-state load-following regimes: 70.73%, 92.65%, and 100% of the Maximum Continuous Rating (MCR). The dataset covers five linked domains, each mapped to a data table: (i) fuel (coal) proximate/ultimate analysis, (ii) flue gas combustion stoichiometry, (iii) mass flow and temperature profiles across the furnace and heat-recovery train, and (iv) the water/steam circuit, together with (v) the evaluated enthalpy, entropy, and exergy at each state point. This README gives a fast orientation; full technical details are in the accompanying User Manual.

Steps to reproduce
This manual covers four things: (1) where the data came from and how it was processed (data provenance), (2) how the repository is organized, (3) what each data table contains, variable by variable, and (4) practical guidance for reusing the data correctly, including its stated limitations.
