MANAGING THE SUPPLY CHAIN RELATIONSHIP AND THE KEY DRIVING FACTORS
Description
Supply chain relationships (SCR) involve buyers and suppliers from many different companies. This study aims to explain the relationship between Information System (IS), Logistics Service Quality (LSQ), Social Value and Ethics (SVE) empirically, and their effect on SCR. This research is a survey research, the questionnaires are distributed online and the answers are collected from 160 respondents. Data analysis was performed using structural equation modeling (SEM) with Amos 24 software and IBM SPSS Statistics 26. Five hypotheses were proposed, four were supported and one was not proven, where LSQ had no effect on SCR. IS is a definite tool for businesses to use for ease, convenience and speed of service to improve LSQ and SCR. This study presents SVE as the basic foundation, a well-executed SVE will certainly increase LSQ and SCR. This paper serves as a feedback loop that provides insight into the empirical evidence from the SCR study.
