Description

This dataset contains: A "Data" folder, which contains for each of the 3 main conditions (freely moving, poking, and bisection): - Fused.tif: Full size image stacks of basal bodies of entire Trichoplax individuals in 3 conditions (Freely moving, poking, and bisection) - "centrin" folder: the treated and segmented images of the centrin channel, along with the datasheet of centrin dots segmentation. - "rooletin" folder: the treated and segmented images of the rootletin channel, along with the datasheet of rootlets coordinates, major axis, and tilt angle. - dataset.mat: the matlab workspace combining the rootletin (xr,yr,l,theta) and centrin (xc,yc) data from the two datasheets. - vector_field_allcells.fig/svg: the matlab/svg figure of the quiver plot of orientation of all individual centrin/rootletin pairs - vector_field_boxaverage.fig/svg: the matlab/svg figure of the quiver plot of orientation averaged over square subregions (10µm*10µm) A "Code" folder, which contains: - orientation_vectors.m: The custum matlab function that pairs centrin and rootletin signals contained in "dataset.mat" to compute basal body orientation vector fields. - boxaverage.m: The custum matlab function that computes orientation in square subregions and corresponding basal body orientation colormaps and vector fields.
