Description

This dataset investigates the lithium (Li) enrichment mechanisms in lepidolite from LCT-type (lithium-cesium-tantalum) granitic pegmatites. LA-ICP-MS Data: Includes trace element concentrations obtained from spot and line-scan analyses, demonstrating significant chemical heterogeneity and Li spatial non-uniformity at the micron scale.These are raw/processed geochemical datasets. The Instrumental parameters sheet contains laser ablation parameters (e.g., 193 nm ArF excimer laser, spot size, internal standards). These can be used to compare trace element partitioning in similar LCT pegmatite systems. APT Data: Contains three-dimensional atomic reconstructions of two lepidolite needle-tips (Specimen_10447 and Specimen_10562). These files provide direct, sub-nanometer-scale evidence of Li nanoclusters and their spatial association (or segregation) with late-stage fluid components. These are 3D atomic reconstruction files generated by the Cameca LEAP 6000XR system. They should be opened using CAMECA IVAS (v3.8.4) software.
