Description

Data describing population migration in approx. 2,500 municipalities in Poland in the years 2003-2022. On this basis, models were built showing the most important causes and effects of these changes (Data_set03eng.xlsx). The second file (Result_errors_2003-2022.xlsx) presents error categories obtained using "pseudo k-means" classification method. The third file (travel_time_by_car.xlsx) contains data on travel times from all municipalities in Poland to their county capitals, subregionally important cities, and provincial capitals, used in modeling.

Steps to reproduce

Data on check-ins and check-outs at the municipal level from 2003 to 2022, i.e. for all municipalities over a 20-year period, were used. Thus, a matrix of flows was available for each year, and, of course, a significant portion of the elements of this matrix, with a formal size of about 2,500 x 2,500.
