Climate-Responsive Educational Engineering Systems: An Integrated Model of Economic Efficiency, Engineering Innovation, Educational Preparedness, and Climate Adaptation
Description
This study employed a qualitative-documentary research design utilizing secondary data analysis. It systematically examined and synthesized existing literature, peer-reviewed journal articles, institutional reports, and global publications relevant to climate-responsive engineering systems, economic efficiency, educational preparedness, and climate adaptation. The qualitative approach was used to identify patterns, themes, and conceptual relationships among the variables, while the documentary analysis focused on extracting relevant information from credible secondary sources. Through thematic synthesis, the study developed an integrated understanding of the interconnections among engineering, economics, education, and climate science, which served as the basis for formulating the Climate-Responsive Educational Engineering Systems Theory (CREEST).

Steps to reproduce
This study employed a secondary data-based, qualitative-documentary research design focused on developing the Climate-Responsive Educational Engineering Systems Theory (CREEST). The following steps outline how the data were gathered and how the study can be reproduced: First, relevant literature and secondary sources were identified through systematic searching of peer-reviewed journals, institutional reports, and publications from recognized organizations such as the IPCC, World Bank, OECD, and UNESCO. Keywords such as climate-responsive engineering, economic efficiency in infrastructure, engineering education, and climate adaptation were used to ensure comprehensive coverage of the topic. Second, all gathered materials underwent screening and selection based on inclusion criteria, which required sources to be credible, recent, and directly related to the four key variables of the study. Irrelevant, duplicate, or non-scholarly sources were excluded to maintain data quality.
