The dataset was compiled during fieldwork conducted between 2019 and 2020 in the department of Risaralda, Colombia. Information was collected from 15 coffee producer associations selected for their representativeness in terms of size, commercialization strategies, and governance models. Primary data were obtained through semi-structured interviews with association leaders, complemented by financial and production records provided by each organization. Secondary data were integrated from official sources, including the Federación Nacional de Cafeteros de Colombia (FNC) and the Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadística (DANE). All variables were standardized and aggregated at the association level. Data processing and statistical analysis were performed using R (version 4.2.1) and Orange Data Mining (version 3.34). Hierarchical cluster analysis (Ward’s method, Euclidean distance), correlation matrices, and descriptive statistics were used to examine productivity, income, and sales diversification indicators. The dataset includes only anonymized, aggregated results at the organizational level, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with ethical standards.
