Steps to reproduce
This review employed the modified Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines as outlined by Page et al. (2021) to ensure methodological transparency and systematic screening. The Scopus database was selected as the primary index due to its comprehensive coverage of peer-reviewed literature. A focused search query was developed using Boolean operators to identify studies related to ChatGPT within the educational domain. The search string applied was designed to capture a wide range of studies addressing cognitive, affective, behavioural, and English writing components linked to ChatGPT-supported learning. To enhance relevance, Scopus filters were applied to restrict results to Social Sciences, English-language publications, final publication stage articles, and open-access documents. Additional keyword filters such as “ChatGPT,” “Generative AI,” “Educational Technology,” “Chatbots,” and “AI in Education” further refined the search scope.
