Description

The data is the product of our desire to understand how small agricultural communities in Tamilnadu, India utilize digital tools. To better understand how farmers (n=211) access and use smart phones and e-service centres (public and private), we developed a survey schedule. Data collection began in March 2022. We discovered that practically all of the small farmers have access to electronic service centres and own mobile phones. These instruments are reported to be less frequently used for general and agricultural duties, apart from entertainment. The installation of cutting-edge ICT infrastructure for agricultural supply chain activities depends on this information.
