Description

This dataset contains survey responses from 600 Generation Z respondents (aged 18–24) in three Tier 1 South Indian cities (Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru), collected to examine political engagement on Instagram. The instrument adapted Waeterloos et al.'s (2021) Social Media Political Participation Scale, measuring latent, follower, expressive, and system engagement (16 items, 5-point Likert), alongside demographic and Instagram-usage variables.
