A comprehensive panel dataset of Bangladeshi banks (1997–2025): reported financial statements and engineered risk indicators for bank risk analytics

Description

The dataset is distributed as a single comma-separated-values (CSV) file, containing 780 bank-year records for 57 banks between 1997 and 2025 and 25 columns. Each row is one bank in one financial year; the panel is unbalanced because banks were established, or began public reporting, in different years. Four identifier columns are followed by seven reported items and fourteen engineered indicators.
