Spectral (obtained on the rolling surface) and qualitative (apparent relative density, moisture content, volatile matter, ash, and fixed carbon) data of charcoal from tropical wood wastes. In addition, wood basic density is described. The spectral signatures associated with multivariate models are able to accurately identify the charcoal origin.
