The tourist gaze notion needs much scholarly attention to globalize. Urry (2002) himself states that tourist gaze is subject to personal experience and is highly influenced by political, religious and socio-cultural changes of the society. However, the Asian tourist gaze and domestic tourist gaze have long been missed in the tourist gaze literature. This becomes more interesting to explore in a post-conflict setting. To fill this gap in the literature, we employ TripAdvisor.com reviews. The reviews made by local tourists in English during May 2018 - December 2018 have been collected for data analysis. Thematic analysis has been employed to analyze the data.
