Description

The data and code associated with the publication "Direct observation of common cryoprotectant permeation into rice (Oryza sativa) callus by CARS microscopy" published in Cell Press. The original TIFF videos presented in the brightfield data are available upon request to from N.E.L. (lead contact), however .avi files are provided here. All .avi files are jpeg's compressed at 7 fps. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.xcrp.2023.101469 Brightfield data were collected on a confocal Olympus microscope and show live rice callus cells exposed to a variety of cryoprotectants (indicated by file names). CARS data are coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering images of live rice callus cells exposed to a variety of deuterated cryoprotectants (indicated by file names). The R code used to analyze each data set is also provided. For a full description of the experiment and how the data were interpreted, see DOI
