Dataset Overview: This dataset comprises 15,784 images and 3,160 videos from 1,842 livestock animals collected in Mysuru, Mandya, and Chamarajanagar, Karnataka, India. Collected under farm conditions, it serves as an open-access resource for computer vision, precision farming, biometric identification, and dental age estimation across Cow (Phase 1 & 2), Oxen, Sheep, and Goats. Multi-Part Repository Organization: To comply with repository size limits (10 GB threshold), the collection is split into 12 ZIP archives across linked Mendeley Data entries. Every dataset entry in this collection includes: 1. The specific ZIP archive containing raw images and videos for that subset. 2. README.txt (Master documentation detailing directory trees and file naming). 3. Metadata_Master.xlsx (Master index workbook with age and subject mappings).
