Description

This dataset reports the numerical findings of a research project designed to assess the Sense of Coherence among university students. The applied instrument evaluates three fundamental dimensions: (1) comprehensibility, (2) manageability, and (3) meaningfulness. Data were collected in Chile and Ecuador, offering valuable insights into the Sense of Coherence capacities of university students within the Latin American context.

Steps to reproduce

In this research, the Sense of Coherence scale (SOC-15) was administered to a sample of 1,346 university students (Chile: 655; Ecuador: 691). The scale was administered in a self-report format, and data were collected only after participants had provided informed consent. Ethical standards for research involving human subjects were rigorously upheld at every stage of the study, in full compliance with the principles of the Helsinki Declaration and the Nuremberg Code.
