This dataset contains the experimental results for 71 cylindrical specimens of a low-plasticity clay soil (CL) stabilized with recycled expanded polystyrene (EPS) diluted in D-limonene, at dosages of 0–12% EPS and 20–35% D-limonene (percentage of the soil's dry weight). For each specimen, the dataset reports wet and dry density, percentage of D-limonene lost to evaporation after 7 days of air curing, ultrasonic pulse velocity (UPV), unit strain, modulus of elasticity, and unconfined compressive strength (CS). These data support the results reported in the article "Recycled EPS Diluted in D-Limonene as a Sustainable Stabilizer for Building Foundation Subgrade: Evaluation of Physical and Mechanical Properties in Fine Clay Soils."
