Description

Scanning electron microscopic images of fractured ductile cast iron samples are enclosed. Rotary fully-reversed bending Fatigue tests were done on standard GJS-700 specimens, extracted from the crankshaft of an engine, under cyclic loading. Then, the fracture surface of samples was examined by scanning electron microscopy to find striation marks due to the fatigue phenomenon.
