Description

The analysis of this dataset indicates that, compared to non-anthropomorphic robots, anthropomorphic robots are more effective at enhancing consumers' perceived status, service evaluation, and willingness to pay a premium in luxury service settings (data_study1). This effect occurs because anthropomorphic robots elicit a higher level of social presence, which in turn strengthens consumers' perception of status (data_study2), with vanity moderating this mediated relationship (data_study3).
