Data set for several hypothesis testing for master's research on "Operational strategies for managing private equity funds in emerging markets". There are 3 different parts of the data set for each group of hypothesis: 1.1 "Active operational strategies show higher returns than passive investment strategies" 1.2 "Private equity funds with an active investment strategy in emerging markets show higher returns compared to similar funds in developed markets" 2.1 "Active venture investment strategy provides higher profitability indicators for private equity funds compared to passive strategy" 2.2 "Active venture investment strategies are more profitable in emerging markets compared to developed ones" 3.1 "The strategy of" distressed assets and secondary buyouts of companies" has a positive effect on the profitability of private equity funds compared to passive investment strategies» 3.2 "Strategies for" distressed assets and secondary buyouts of companies" are more profitable in emerging markets compared to developed ones» Every part has initial form of data and data set for regression analysis as well as for correlation analysis. Data set include values for private equity funds metrics: Return (IRR), Size of the fund, Experience of the fund, Region of the main investments and Active investment strategy usage (binary variable).
