Diego MendezDescription
The training loads of eight professional tennis players were tracked over one season. Association between three load monitoring parameters were analyzed: (i) weekly average of each s-RPE (mRPE) vs. a single weekly average measure reported on the last day of the week (wRPE); (ii) weekly training load (s-RPE × duration) using both mRPE and wRPE; and (iii) week-to-week percentage changes in training load using mRPE and wRPE. A nested model analysis, considering player and training week as random variables, was used to predict s-RPE based on wRPE.
