This data set comprises raw data for FTIR analysis of diopside aggregates under anhydrous conditions, and raw deformation data of anhydrousdiopside aggregates deformed at confining pressures of ~300 MPa and temperatures of 1423–1523 K in a Paterson gas-medium apparatus. It can be used to investigate the influence of oxygen fugacity on the rheology of diopside aggregates. The results show that oxygen fugacity has limited weakening effect on the rheological behavior of diopside aggregates.
