Cardiovascular Disease Dataset
Description
This dataset was developed for scientific research aimed at analyzing and early detecting cardiovascular diseases. The dataset consists of a total of 1,294 objects (patient records), each of which is characterized by 122 clinical and laboratory signs. These indicators include demographic indicators of patients, anamnesis data, clinical symptoms, and laboratory test results. In the dataset, objects are designated by 12 classes (cases or diagnostic categories), which provides a convenient opportunity to solve multi-class classification problems. The characteristics within the dataset consist of various (numerical and categorical) data, reflecting the complexity of the actual clinical situation.

The dataset comprises the following twelve clinically distinct diagnostic classes: 1) acute Q-wave (transmural) myocardial infarction, 2) acute non-Q-wave myocardial infarction, 3) acute coronary syndrome with ST-segment elevation, 4) angina pectoris, 5) arterial hypertension, 6) heart rhythm disorder — atrial fibrillation, 7) acquired/rheumatic heart valve diseases, 8) congenital heart defects and postoperative condition, 9) non-coronary myocardial diseases, 10) cerebrovascular ischemic disease, 11) peripheral arterial atherosclerosis, and 12) astheno-neurotic syndrome, reflecting the broad clinical spectrum of cardiovascular pathology encountered in contemporary diagnostic practice.
