Spiral Paper calcs - Hani
Description
This dataset contains the numerical results and supporting calculations used in the study "Numerical Investigation of the Effects of Spiral Absorber Geometry on the Thermal–Hydraulic Performance of Solar Parabolic Trough Collector Receivers." The Excel workbook includes geometric parameters of the spiral absorber tubes, operating conditions, CFD-derived performance metrics, and post-processing calculations for outlet temperature, absorber temperature, thermal efficiency, temperature rise, and pressure drop. Data are provided for multiple coil diameter ratios, pitch ratios, receiver configurations (bare and acrylic-covered), and mass flow rates. The dataset supports the figures, tables, and conclusions presented in the manuscript.

Steps to reproduce
Open the Excel workbook and select the desired absorber geometry, receiver configuration, and mass flow rate. The workbook contains the processed CFD results used in the manuscript, including outlet temperature, absorber temperature, thermal efficiency, and pressure drop. Plotting these values against coil diameter ratio (Dc/D3) or pitch ratio (P/D3) reproduces the figures and performance trends reported in the paper.
