Description

the dataset comprises of the geochemistry of Carbonate rocks in Kompina, N’kapa Formation (North Western Douala Sub-Basin, West Africa). The dataset comprises of selected Major element oxides and trace metals which are used to interpret sedimentological characteristics such as depositional environment, paleoredox and paleoclimate. These geochemical dataset were gathered using inductively couple plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) method while trace elements and major elements ratios were calculated for carbonate samples.
