Description

This dataset contains over 200 geotechnical test records collected from multiple sites (Site-ID 1 to 18), focusing on the physical and mechanical properties of fine‑grained soils (silts and clays). For each sample, the following parameters are reported: sampling depth, natural water content, specific gravity of soil solids, degree of saturation, liquid limit (10 mm cone method), plastic limit, plasticity index, liquidity index, liquid/plastic ratio, coefficient of compressibility, and site identifier. The data are suitable for exploring correlations between basic physical properties and compressibility, supporting geotechnical site classification, empirical regional correlations, or machine learning model development.
