TPMS LAB · Constructor: Parametric Generation, Analysis and Export of TPMS Structures
Description
TPMS LAB · Constructor is a browser-based software tool for parametric generation, visualization, analysis, and export of triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) structures. The software supports multiple TPMS geometries, including Schwarz P, Gyroid, Schwarz D, Schoen I-WP, Neovius, Lidinoid, Fischer–Koch S, F-RD, Split-P, Schwarz PMY, C(D) / Cubic Diamond, and BCC nodal surfaces. Users can define the unit-cell size, number of cells along the X, Y, and Z directions, spatial position of the periodic structure, representation mode, wall thickness, and wall-thickness generation method. The application provides interactive three-dimensional visualization and calculates basic geometric characteristics, including material volume fraction and surface area. Generated geometries can be exported as STL and OBJ surface models. Point-cloud data can also be exported in CSV and PLY formats, with optional surface-normal information. An additional thermal-analysis module enables preliminary evaluation of TPMS-based thermal-protection panels. The module allows the specification of thermophysical properties of the solid phase and pore-filling medium, thermal boundary conditions, panel dimensions, and heating duration. Calculated parameters include effective thermal conductivity, panel mass, steady-state heat flux, thermal diffusivity, and protected-side temperature. The software can also estimate the minimum panel thickness required to satisfy a specified temperature limit. The thermal module is intended for preliminary and educational engineering assessment. Material properties are assumed to be constant, while radiative heat transfer and thermal contact resistance are not included in the current model.

Steps to reproduce
The software is provided as a standalone HTML application and does not require installation. 1. Download the HTML file. 2. Open the file in a modern web browser with WebGL2 support. 3. Select the required TPMS geometry. 4. Specify the unit-cell size, number of cells, representation mode, wall-thickness method, wall thickness, and other geometric parameters. 5. Click “Rebuild” to generate the TPMS structure. 6. The generated model can be interactively inspected in the 3D viewer. 7. Geometric characteristics, including material volume fraction and surface area, are calculated automatically. 8. The generated geometry can be exported in STL or OBJ format, while point-cloud data can be exported in CSV or PLY format. 9. The thermal-analysis module can be used to perform a preliminary one-dimensional transient thermal assessment by specifying material properties, pore-filling medium, boundary conditions, panel dimensions, and heating duration.
