Description

This dataset contains the source data, processed imaging datasets, and analysis files supporting the manuscript “Three-Dimensional Structural and Elemental Organization of Amyloid Plaques Revealed by Correlative Synchrotron Imaging.” IMG_corr_weighted_Cu-K_area_density_ngmm2.tif_MLEM, IMG_corr_weighted_Fe-K_area_density_ngmm2.tif_MLEM, and IMG_corr_weighted_Zn-K_area_density_ngmm2.tif_MLEM (in "Heavy-Metal_Maps_XRFT", correspond to three non-normalized XRFT elemental maps of Cu, Fe, and Zn, respectively. SUM_Brain_APP23_11_170nm_HT01_norec_.tif is a three-slice stack extracted from a tomographic volume acquired at a spatial resolution of 170 nm. Plaque-mask.tif is a sequence of tomographic slices, acquired at a spatial resolution of 80nm, of a amyloid plaque The other files (Roi-XRF-Na_70 and Roi-XRF-Na_164) correspond to the sodium XRF scans of the ROIs selected in sections 70 and 164 of the sample.
