Data and analysis code for “Acute Exercise, Subjective Appetite, and First Ad Libitum Energy Intake in Adults: A Three-Level Meta-Analysis of Time Course and Dose Response”
Description
This dataset contains the analysis-ready data supporting the systematic review and meta-analysis “Acute Exercise, Subjective Appetite, and First Ad Libitum Energy Intake in Adults: A Three-Level Meta-Analysis of Time Course and Dose Response.” The files include study characteristics, effect-size data for subjective appetite and first ad libitum energy intake, exercise-dose variables used in the dose-response analyses, and final risk-of-bias judgments. All data were extracted from published studies. No individual participant-level data are included.

Steps to reproduce
The analysis-ready data and R scripts used for the meta-analysis are provided in this dataset. Download all files into the same folder and run the R scripts in numerical order. The analyses were conducted using the metafor and clubSandwich packages. The scripts reproduce the main three-level meta-analyses and analyses of postexercise time, exercise modality, exercise dose, first ad libitum energy intake, and exploratory paired appetite–energy intake associations.
