Description

This database contains recordings of electroencephalography (EEG) and electromyography (EMG) obtained during the detection of movement-related cortical potentials (MRCPs) in healthy subjects. The experimental protocol consisted of performing a voluntary right-hand movement (fist clenching). EEG signals were acquired using 32 electrodes placed according to the international 10-10 system, with a particular focus on the fronto-central regions (FC3, FC1, FCz, C3, C1, Cz, CP3, CP1, and CPz). Complementary EMG recordings were obtained from the right forearm muscles to validate the presence and characteristics of motor activity. This database is intended to support research in brain-computer interfaces (BCI) and the characterization of MRCPs.
