Description

This study focused on the spatial distribution of child malnutrition in Ethiopia and to identify the risk hotspots region that could be possibly used to design malnutrition intervention programs. The data used in this study was obtained from the Demographic and Health survey program. The data was cleaned and prepared for analysis and a hierarchical spatial model was fitted. Findings identified the major risk factors and hotspot regions in Ethiopia. The observed data were recoded to suit the model considered. We refer interested readers to see the 2016 Ethiopia demographic and health survey brochure for more insight on the data.
