Description

This dataset contains responses from 534 early childhood educators in Chile who participated in a national survey on outdoor practices in early childhood education centers. The data include variables on educators’ professional experience, average daily outdoor minutes, physical characteristics of outdoor spaces, natural elements and ground surfaces, types of outdoor activities offered to children, perceived weather barriers, and suggestions for improving outdoor environments. Additional variables describe curricular cores addressed outdoors, institutional characteristics, and geographic location. The dataset supports research on factors influencing outdoor time and can be used to inform policy, practice, and cross-cultural comparisons in early childhood education.
