Real-World Comparative Outcomes of Roxadustat Plus Erythropoietin Versus Erythropoietin Monotherapy in Patients With Chronic Kidney Disease–Associated Anemia

Description

This retrospective cohort study included 514 CKD patients with anemia, including 283 treated with EPO monotherapy and 231 treated with EPO plus roxadustat. Baseline characteristics, hemoglobin levels, iron metabolism indices, treatment response, intravenous iron use, adverse events, and 6-month outcomes were analyzed. Subgroup analyses were performed according to CKD stage, iron status, age, and sex.
