Description
12 children received a tic tac saying that one of its ingredients (gummi arabicum) has a performance-enhancing effect, in counterbalance order (control and placebo). Then they made a rowing sprint we tested heart rate, meters, and strokes, as well as expectancy and perceived performance in the two conditions. Placebo effects have emerged as per meters completed.
